With the last two days of the European transfer market remaining, Manchester United are feared to be out of the running for new signings, but there are still four players who could move away before the transfer window closes, and that includes Amad Diallo, Daniel James, Phil Jones and Lingard.
Amad Diallo
Diallo, who joined for a whopping €40 million in the winter window, had been negotiating a loan move to Feyenoord in the Netherlands. However, an unexpected injury in training last week could affect his loan. The British newspaper Daily Mail revealed that Feyenoord sporting director Arnesen is waiting for the Ivory Coast 19-year-old’s medical report to fully assess the decision on whether to continue the loan.
United brought in Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, plus the original Rashford, Martial and Mason Greenwood. Diallo, if he stays, will essentially have to play in the second team. If he is unable to complete his loan due to injury, it would be a major blow to his career development.
Daniel James
In a similar position to Diallo is Welsh international James. James who cost £18 million in transfer fees made a surprise start against Wolves, but still did not perform well. With Ronaldo officially joining the club after the international break, it will be difficult for James to get another chance.
United manager Solskjaer also did not rule out the possibility of renting out the 23-year-old James. Jesse Lingard

But the Red Devils may need to lower their transfer bid slightly, and at around £15m, it should be easy to sell the Great British star.
Manchester United’s injury king-Philip Jones
United’s injury king, Jones, on the other hand, has received an offer from Fulham of the Championship. Jones, 29, hasn’t played an official game since January 2020 and with Varane joining him, it is even harder to guarantee him playing time at United.With Maguire, Varane, Lindelof and Eric Baye all ahead of him, Fulham are the 5th centre-back and have less chance of starting than even 18-year-old youth centre-back Teden Menzie.‘
After a year of knee injuries, it is doubtful that Jones will be able to adapt to the Premier League, but Fulham, coached by marquee manager Marco Silva, could be the ideal home for him.
Fulham were relegated from the Premier League last season and they are unbeaten in the Championship this season. In order to get back into the Premier League immediately, coach Silva is considering the possibility of signing Jones before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
Fulham have won 4 and drawn 1 in the first 5 rounds of the Championship, with 13 points the same as another relegated team, West Brom, but have scored more goals to stay at the top of the table. Therefore, this is a team that meets Jones’ mental expectations and he is interested in working out for a strong Championship team capable of making a Premier League push.
