Fabrizio Romano responded to the transfer rumours involving Grealish. He stated in his exclusive CaughtOffside column, that Grealish is 100% focused on City and this winter’s World Cup match with England.
Romano said that “we will see” in 2023. So, perhaps things could change as suggested by a 90min report that linked Grealish to a move from the Etihad Stadium. Romano explained Grealish’s current City situation to
: “At this moment, the answer that I’m getting it that Grealish is 100% focused upon Manchester City, World Cup, and nothing else.

“He’s ready to fight for his spot at Man City so that we can see in 2023 what happens but there’s absolutely no decision or imminent. He deserves time, I believe after only one season with Guardiola.”
City supporters will no doubt be hopeful that Grealish can turn the tide in Manchester. The 27-year old is a top talent on his day.
This is a different style of football at City than Grealish was used to at Villa. However, he’s certainly capable of adapting and making an impact.
