Al Masry suffered a disappointing campaign in the last Egyptian Premier League campaign and finished in 13th.
They are now trying to rebuild the team and started with the head coach when they named Ehab Galal, an ex-Egypt national soccer team manager, as their successor to Hossam Hashedan.
They also signed a lot of names including Marwan Hamdi (Egyptian international), Mahmoud Gad (ES Setif midfielder), and Imadeddine Boubekeur (Wydad centre-back).
Yesterday saw the club announce the signing Franck Etouga, Asante Kotoko forward.
Etouga, a Cameroonian 21-year-old striker, is showing great potential for a young age. He scored 21 goals and assisted Kotoko in just 30 games.
He signed a three year contract with the Green Eagles. He’s expected to continue representing the team until 2025.
