Coulibaly left Al Ahly in 2017 after he traveled to London without permission of the Reds.
In 2018, FIFA’s Dispute Settlement Court fined the Ivorian forward $1.4 million. However, the player continued to play for Partick Thistle in Scotland as FIFA assured them that they wouldn’t be required to pay the fine.
After only one season in Scotland, he was released by Partick Thistle and joined Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia a few days later.
