After a disappointing start to last season that saw Ismaily at the bottom of the league, they are trying to improve their ranks by making new strong signings.
Ex-Zamalek right back Hamdi Nagguez signed a three year contract with the club.
Naguez won’t be the only Tunisian joining the team. Yehia El Komy, club president, announced the signings of CS Sfaxien duo Firas Chouat and Nour Zamen Zammouri.
Chaouat, a product from the Sfaxien youth academy, only left the club to take a loan to SPL’s Abha in 2020.
Firas played 141 games for Tunisia, scoring 47 goals and providing 20 assists.
Zammouri is a 24-year old defender who joined Sfaxien in 2017. He made 69 appearances in all competitions during his five-year tenure.
