Adel was a graduate of El-Mareekh Academy before joining Pyramids in February 2018. He was then promoted to the first team one year later.
After being promoted to the first team of Pyramids in February 2018, he was a key member of the team, and helped his side reach the CAF Confederation Cup final for 2020.
At 21 years old, Adel scored six goals and provided four assists last season to help Pyramids reach their first ever second-place finish at the Egyptian Premier League.
Adel has also made four international appearances for Egypt’s national team since his debut in September last year.
Danish Superliga leader FC Nordsjaelland even revealed that they had made an official offer for Ibrahim Adel of EUR2m, but it was rejected by Pyramids.
Adel signed a new contract last month with Pyramids that will keep him at club until 2026. This puts an end to all speculation about his future.
However, 90min reports that Liverpool may be interested in Adel’s transfer in January.
According to the report, Liverpool officials were inspired by Mohamed Salah’s talent. However, club scouts already know of Adel’s potential.
There are a number of Premier League clubs that are keeping an eye on Adel, including Arsenal, Brentford and Brighton.
