Future FC made 15 signings last summer to improve their top-flight debut.
Anicet, a Madagascar international midfielder, was one of the signings. He was a free agent at that time.
Anicet, a veteran player in Europe, was expected to be a star for Egypt’s Premier League. However, he only managed six appearances across all competitions.
Anicet failed to make it into the first-team and decided to go back to Bulgaria through PFC Beroe. They had just finished their previous league campaign eighth.
Anicet, 32, is no stranger in Bulgaria. He has represented Chern and Burgas as well as CSKA Sofia, Botev Plovdiv and Ludogorets.
Although it was a disappointing season for Anicet FC, Future FC enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign in the top flight and secured a place in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
