Felipe Caicedo joined Genoa in August last year on a three-year contract. He had previously spent four seasons at Lazio.
Following a strong start for Genoa’s first half, Caicedo was then reunited at Inter with Simone Inzaghi, his former manager. This loan agreement was for six months.
But, Caicedo, 33, made only three appearances for the Nerazzuri who lost the Serie A title to Milan.
Despite Caicedo still having two years on his Genoa contract, the Italian club ended Caicedo’s deal and made him a free agent.
Abha was able to sign Caicedo as a free transfer and he signed a one year contract with the Leaders of the South.
